  • Dr. Tori Hudson, ND

    Dr. Tori Hudson, ND

    Specialty Compounded Prescriptions in Women's Health

    Dr. Tori Hudson, Naturopathic Physician, graduated from the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in 1984 and has served the college in several capacities, including: Medical Director, Associate Academic Dean, and Academic Dean. She is currently a clinical adjunct professor at NUNM), Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, Bastyr University and the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.

    Dr. Hudson has been in practice for more than 36 years, is the medical director of her clinic, “A Woman’s Time” in Portland, Oregon, co-owner and director of product research and education for VITANICA and the program director for the Institute of Women’s Health and Integrative Medicine. She is also the founder and co-director of NERC (Naturopathic Education and Research Consortium), a non-profit organization for accredited naturopathic residencies.

    Dr. Hudson has been appointed as a faculty member of the Fellowship in Integrative Health and Medicine, Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine. Dr. Hudson was awarded the 1990 President’s award from the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians for her research in women’s health, the 1999 prestigious Naturopathic Physician of the Year award, the 2003 NUNM Alumni Pioneer Award., the 2009 Natural Products Association Pioneer Award and in 2012 was inducted into the NUNM Hall of Fame. In 2016, she was the recipient of the annual Oregon Association of Naturopathic Physician’s “Living Legends” award.

    In 2021 she received the 2020 American Botanical Council’s prestigious Fredi Kronenberg Excellence in Research and Education in Botanicals in Women’s Health Award for 2020. She is a nationally recognized author (book: Women’s Encyclopedia of Natural Medicine second edition, McGraw Hill 2008), speaker, educator, researcher, and clinician. Dr. Hudson serves on several editorial boards, advisory panels and as a consultant to the natural products industry. She also writes monthly columns and free lance articles for several publications.

    Mast Cell Activation, Histamine and Chronic Pain Syndrome: Diagnosis, Treatment and Ideas

    Dr. Hill’s initial interest is healthcare began in 1990 with studying botanical medicine and Craniosacral therapy. Her love of medicine began with working closely with the extracellular matrix and the still little understood organ of the fascia. She brings the skill of her felt sense together with her studies in Functional Naturopathic Medicine, Ayurvedic Medicine and Neural Injection Therapy to help her patients.

    Dr. Hill combines her practice and teaching of Craniosacral with Naturopathic Medicine and Neural Therapy to directly treat patients who have Ehlers-Danlos and Hypermobility syndromes, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome and chronic infectious disease including Post-Covid Long Hauler syndrome, ME/CFS and Lyme disease. She also treats chronic pain disorders and other complex chronic illness.

    Dr. Hill also teaches craniosacral therapy and neural therapy to other medical providers and is a well-received speaker in various specialty medical topics at many of the annual conferences in the medical and naturopathic medical field.

    Dr. Crane Holmes is a Naturopathic Physician based in Portland, Oregon, with a specialized focus on the diagnosis and treatment of complex, chronic digestive disorders. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with an emphasis on nutrition, before obtaining his Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in Portland, Oregon.

    Dr. Holmes completed a fellowship with the Board of Naturopathic Gastroenterology (FABNG) and is an active participant in specialized committees within the Gastroenterology Association of Naturopathic Physicians (GastroANP). His clinical expertise includes the management of vector-borne infections, mold related illness, mast cell activation disorders, hypermobility syndromes, and intestinal dysbiosis.

    As the owner and clinical director of the SIBO Testing Center, Dr. Holmes oversees lactulose breath testing for Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO), further advancing his commitment to providing targeted, evidence-based care for patients with digestive health challenges.

    Dr. Michael McKee is a Naturopathic Physician and Acupuncturist practicing in Portland, Oregon. He specializes in the treatment of complex chronic illnesses including Vector Borne Diseases, Ehlers-Danlos and Hypermobility Syndromes, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, Mold Exposure Illness, CFS/ME, and Long COVID.

    He practices an eclectic blend of East Asian Herbal Medicine and Western Medicine, and is dedicated to the lifelong study of herbalism.

    Pharmaceutical Antifungals with Specific Focus on Treatment of Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS) SIFO and Treatment Resistant Candida

    Dr. Loren Lubin is a board certified Naturopathic Physician and Licensed Acupuncturist. She received her B.S. in Biology and Society from Cornell University and her Naturopathic Doctorate and Master’s of Science in Oriental Medicine from the National University of Natural Medicine.

    Dr. Lubin grew up outside of New York City with a strong sense of curiosity and a love of learning. She discovered her passion for teaching and the importance of strong, supportive relationships when she underwent an intensive teacher training program with Teach for America, teaching middle school science to underserved students in Houston. Instead of focusing on superficial problems, Dr. Lubin infuses her love of teaching and learning into her clinical practice, empowering her patients to take an active role in their health.

    Dr. Lubin combines modern diagnostic techniques with carefully selected natural therapies to restore the body’s innate ability to heal. As an integrative physician, Dr. Lubin is able to draw from a broad toolkit that includes Chinese and Western herbal medicine, nutritional supplements, homeopathy, acupuncture, visceral manipulations, as well as dietary and lifestyle education. Through this versatility, she is able to individualize a treatment plan to best fit your life, addressing root causes and removing obstacles to health.

    Throughout her six-year program in Naturopathic and Chinese medicine, Dr. Lubin worked with mentors specializing in chronic gastrointestinal disorders, adjunctive cancer care, women’s health, and complex immune dysfunction (e.g., Lyme Disease and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome).

    In addition to her classroom and clinical training at NUNM, Dr. Lubin completed a two-year preceptorship with Dr. Stacey Raffety, gaining deep insight into the treatment of Chronic Lyme Disease. This mentorship has been the foundation of Dr. Lubin’s focus on treating Lyme Disease and its myriad of bacterial, viral and parasitic co-infections. Dr. Lubin is passionate about treating Lyme Disease with an integrative and multifaceted approach that reaches beyond short-term antimicrobial interventions.

    Dr. Lubin attended the 2016 ILADS Conference (International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society) and has attended numerous conferences and lectures on Lyme since choosing to focus her practice on the disease. Her Chinese Medicine thesis focused on an herbal approach to Lyme and associated illnesses.

    While in private practice at Kwan Yin Healing Arts center, Dr. Lubin is also currently completing a rigorous two-year residency with Dr. Edie Vickers at the An Hao Natural Health Clinic in NW Portland, where she has received extensive training in autoimmune disorders, chronic pain, adjunctive cancer care, thyroid disorders, women’s health and family medicine.

    In her free time, she enjoys swimming, practicing yoga and going for long hikes with her husband. She is also an avid baker and loves transforming her traditional family recipes into gluten-free and paleo versions.
